In the 2000’s luxury houses commonly gave away complimentary gift-with-purchase treasures. From the Dior make up counter the designer's mother handed down a white and pink make up bag. It's shape broad and flat at the base, tapering up to a peak. Simple and elegant, the bag could always fit a little more than one expected. The Evening bag is a direct reflection of that first designer object. Here, it has been lengthened out. Perfect for an understated evening piece when the wearer doesn’t want to be dragged down by too much but their cornucopia of “essentials”.
